Rehearsal information Rehearsals take place from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. on alternate Saturdays throughout the school year at the Music Prep facility at TUCC. Concerts are usually at Rock Hall on Temple's main campus. Students must furnish their own harp, bench, and music at all rehearsals and concerts. Music stands are provided. Harps should be tuned to A440 prior to the start of rehearsal. Lever harps should be tuned to E-flat. Preparation Students are expected to purchase and prepare all assigned repertoire to the best of their ability. Students should communicate with their individual teachers about the suitability of assigned repertoire and contact Kim Rowe with any concerns. Attendance Regular attendance is expected, however we offer some flexibility to accommodate members who would otherwise not be able to participate. Please give two weeks notice if you are unable to attend all or part of the next rehearsal. Attendance at dress rehearsals and concerts is mandatory. If you must miss all or part of a rehearsal, please email your conflict in writing to Kim Rowe. Concert Dress Women: Long ankle-length black skirt; dressy white blouse, 3/4 sleeves or longer (no T shirts), black harp appropriate shoes, black hosiery. Non-distracting jewelry may be worn; however, no bracelets, watches, rings or nail-polish. Men: Black dress pants, long sleeve white dress shirt, dark tie, black shoes, black socks. |
