Temple Prep harp students are invited to observe monthly studio masterclasses given by Temple University instructor and Philadelphia Orchestra principal harpist Elizabeth Hainen. The masterclasses feature Temple University college harp majors and other guests. Temple Prep students may have the opportunity to perform in class by invitation. Masterclasses are held several times per semester, usually on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in Rock Hall on Temple's main campus; check the calendar for exact scheduling details. Please RSVP to Kim Rowe by noon on the day of the masterclass if you would like to attend. If you would like to be considered for a performance, please let Kim know at the beginning of the semester, and schedule a run-through of your solo piece following a Saturday rehearsal. Please note: masterclasses are open to students only and parents are requested to wait in the lobby.
